What is Maine's Lemon Law
10 MRS §§1161-1169 addresses manufacturer warranties on motor vehicles.
Chapter 7 of the Attorney General’s Consumer Law Guide addresses the Maine Lemon Law. Chapter 6 addresses consumer rights if you’ve been sold a defective vehicle and Chapter 9 discusses consumer rights when you buy a used vehicle.
The Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division has regulations (26-239 C.M.R. ch.106) related to administering Lemon Law arbitration.
