Maine Statute 19-A MRSA §655 addresses who is authorized to solemnize marriages. 5 MRSA, c.5 §90-G addresses marriage officiant licenses. There are also Rules Governing the Licensing of Marriage Officiants Who are Authorized to Solemnize Marriages in Maine.
