What is Maine's Law on Holiday/Sunday Sales
Maine law on Sunday and holiday retail sales can be found at 17 MRS §3204(2)(FF), (GG), (HH). Paragraph (HH) states, “In no event, however, may any store having more than 5,000 square feet of interior customer selling space be open on Easter Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.” 17 MRS §3203 addresses sales of motor vehicles on Sundays.
