What is Maine's Law on Implied Warranties
Implied warranties apply to consumer goods, both new and used (except used cars). This warranty is explained in detail in Chapter 4 of the Maine Attorney General’s Consumer Law Guide. This chapter notes that implied warranties are covered in the statutes in Title 11, Chapter 2 as well as 10 M.R.S. § 1473 and 14 M.R.S. § 704-A.
