(5-13) Devenny Brickett, of Lyman, who has been named the 2025 Sanford Regional Technical Center Student of the Year. We extend our congratulations and best wishes;

(5-14) Lynne Cayting, of Manchester, on her retirement after 36 years of public service. Ms. Cayting's career as an environmental specialist in state government began in 1989 with the Maine Land Use Regulation Commission. By 1991, Ms. Cayting had been promoted to Hydropower and Mining Coordinator. In 1992, she was hired at the Department of Environmental Protection to manage state and federal Superfund hazardous waste sites in Maine. In 2001, she became Mobile Sources Section Chief in the Bureau of Air Quality and managed the California Clean Cars and vehicle emissions testing program in Cumberland County. She developed the Maine Clean Marine Engine Program, the first statewide marine repower program in the nation to replace highly emitting unregulated marine engines with cleaner engines. We extend our appreciation and best wishes;

In Memory of:
(5-17) Sandra J. Crockett, of Winthrop. While raising her family, Mrs. Crockett worked part-time with her family, at both Damon's and Whipper's Pizza. She later went to work as the business manager of the Department of Public Lands for the State of Maine and then went on to become State Controller during the Brennan administration. Mrs. Crockett will be long remembered and sadly missed by her family, friends and community;

(5-18) Charles "Chuck" Ray Lang, Sr., of Gardiner. Mr. Lang was a veteran of both the United States Army and the United States Marine Corps. He served with the Marine Corps in the Korean War, earning the National Defense Medal, The Korean Service Medal and The United Nations Service Medal. Mr. Lang was a life member of the American Legion, VFW, DAV and Marine Corps League, Detachment 509. He provided Honor Guard services to his fellow fallen Marines. In 2017, he was named Marine of the Year. Mr. Lang will be long remembered and sadly missed by his family, friends and community;

(5-19) Janet I. Child, of Randolph. Mrs. Child worked at the former Nicholson's Nursing Home in Winthrop for many years until her retirement at 74 years of age. Mrs. Child will be long remembered and sadly missed by her family, friends and community;

(5-20) William H. Rollins, Jr., of Chelsea. Mr. Rollins was a veteran of the United States Army. At the end of his working life he retired from selling insurance. Mr. Rollins will be long remembered and sadly missed by his family, friends and community;

(5-21) Paula J. Waterman, of Woolwich. Mrs. Waterman worked at Bath Iron Works and later as a teacher's aide at Phippsburg Elementary School. She worked as a waitress at New Meadows Inn Restaurant for over 20 years and then worked at Richard's Restaurant for over 20 years. She also was a member of the Bath Golf Club. Mrs. Waterman will be long remembered and sadly missed by her family, friends and community;
