Public Testimony
The Task Force to Study the Process for Bringing Criminal Cases in Situations of Violence Against Health Care Workers (LD 629 Task Force) invites members of the public to provide comment at its September 27, 2022 meeting. Public comment may be given in-person or remotely using Zoom.
The meeting is scheduled to being at 9:00 A.M. The meeting agenda, including the time public testimony will begin, will be posted on the task force webpage found at September 27 2022 meeting materials.
In-Person Testimony: If you would like to speak at the meeting, you may attend the meeting scheduled to be held in room 209 of the Cross Office Building (HHS Committee Room) located at 111 Sewall Street, Augusta, Maine.
Remote Testimony: If you would like to provide testimony remotely using Zoom, you must register no later than 8:30 am, September 27, 2022 through this link: testify electronically. Registrations received after that time will be accepted at the discretion of the task force chairs.
Depending on the number of people who want to speak at the meeting, the chairs may limit each speaker to 3 minutes.
