MARIJUANA ADVISORY COMMISSION
(28-B MRSA c. 1, subchapter 9)
Solicitation of public comment – 2020 legislative interim
Pursuant to Title 28-B, section 903, subsection 2, the Marijuana Advisory Commission is soliciting public comment regarding: “…contacts between law enforcement officers and citizens following the initiation of an adult use marijuana market in the State that involve the personal adult use of marijuana and marijuana products and the home cultivation of marijuana for personal adult use.” (see http://www.mainelegislature.org/legis/statutes/28-B/title28-Bsec903.html).
Please be aware that any comments submitted for this purpose will become public records as submitted, including any details or identifying information contained in those comments. These comments will be appended to the Marijuana Advisory Commission’s annual report to the Legislature, which will be distributed to legislative committees and made publicly available through the Commission’s website (https://legislature.maine.gov/marijuana-advisory-commission).
The Marijuana Advisory Commission will accept public comments for this purpose for a period of 30 days – all comments must be received by Commission staff no later than 5:00 pm on Wednesday, November 11th, 2020.
