Rep. Ben Collings is serving his third term in the Maine House of Representatives. He grew up in Fort Kent has worked on political campaigns for approximately 30 years. He served as a legislative aide in the House Majority Office during the 120th Legislature. Collings has experience lobbying in the Maine State House and in Washington D.C. for Native American tribes, unions and other organizations. In 2016, Rep. Collings was heavily involved in the Bernie Sanders Campaign in Maine and conducted national Native American outreach for Senator Sanders’s primary bid. Rep. Collings has come to Augusta to put more money in the pockets of the hard working people of Portland and all of Maine. His priorities include greater investment in education, infrastructure and technology. He hopes to restore civility, integrity and visionary leadership in Augusta.
