§966. Terms of office
The terms of office for the designated and at-large members defined in section 965, subsections 2 and 3, are for 4 years, except for initial appointees.

1.
Initial terms of office.
The initial terms of office shall apply to the initial designated and at-large appointees, as defined in section 965, subsections 2 and 3. The initial terms of office for these members shall be as follows:
A.
One shall be appointed for one year;

B.
Two shall be appointed for 2 years;

C.
Two shall be appointed for 3 years; and

D.
One shall be appointed for one year.

For purposes of determining eligibility for reappointment of the designated and at-large members, the initial appointments for one or 2 years, as described in paragraphs A and B, shall not be deemed to be full terms.

2.
Limitation on terms; removal.
Except for state members, a member of the authority shall serve no more than 2 full consecutive terms. Any member of the board may be removed by the Governor for cause.
