Rep. Joe Perry is serving his seventh non-consecutive term in the Maine House of Representatives, having previously served from 1996 to 2004. He has also served three terms in the Maine Senate and is a former Bangor City Council member. A longtime small business owner, Rep. Perry serves as the House chair of the Legislature’s Taxation Committee, having previously served as the committee’s Senate chair. He has also served on the Banking and Insurance Committee, Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Committee, Government Oversight Committee and Transportation Committee. In the 129th Legislature, he served as a member of the Innovation, Development, Economic Advancement and Business Committee. Rep. Perry lives in Bangor with his wife, Jane.
