Representative Anne C. Perry
  Representing: Baileyville, Calais, Charlotte, Passamaquoddy Indian Township, Passamaquoddy Pleasant Point, Pembroke, Perry, Robbinston and Baring Plantation

Rep. Anne Perry is a retired Family Nurse Practitioner who worked at Calais Regional Medical Services in Calais and serves on the Legislature’s Health and Human Services Committee.

She is in her seventh non-consecutive term in the House, having previously served in the Maine Legislature from 2003-2010, where she served as House chair of the Joint Standing Committees on Insurance & Financial Services and Health & Human Services. She is a member of the St. Croix Area Rotary Club, board member of Northern Light Health Systems, board member of Calais Regional Medical Health Center and Past-President of the Maine Nurse Practitioner Association.

Rep. Perry is a graduate of University of Southern Maine with a BS in Nursing and Husson College with an MS in Nursing.

Rep. Perry is a member of the Joint Standing Committee on Health and Human Services and the Standing Committee of the House Ethics.

Brief description of the subject matter handled by the committee: Department of Health and Human Services; Parts of the Dirigo Health Act, including the State Health Plan, the Maine Quality Forum and Advisory Council on Health Systems Development; Maine Health Data Organization; health and medical data; MaineCare, Medicaid, and Medicare Part D; children’s welfare and mental health services; childcare; public health and disease control; tobacco addiction prevention and control; sale of tobacco; prescription drugs; health care facilities and health care workforce; social and rehabilitation services; state health system planning; substance abuse; mental health; developmental and other disabilities; poverty, homelessness and public assistance; home and community-based long-term care; aging, elderly and disability issues; medical use of marijuana; maternal and infant health; and nursing facilities and residential care.
