| | 2.__Additional license suspension; fine.__A person who | violates this section is subject to an additional license | suspension and a fine, neither of which may be suspended, as | follows: |

| A.__For 3 license suspensions not related to an OUI offense | within a 3-year period, a license suspension of one year and | a fine of $1,000; |

| B.__For at least 4 but not more than 6 license suspensions | not related to an OUI offense within a 3-year period, a | license revocation of 6 years and a fine of $2,000, plus an | additional $1,000 for each license suspension after the 4th; | and |

| C.__For more than 6 license suspensions not related to an | OUI offense within a 3-year period, a license suspension of | 10 years and a fine of $5,000. |

| | 3.__Calculating prior suspension.__For purposes of this | section, a suspension has occurred within a 3-year period if the | date of the suspension is 3 years or less from the date of the | new conduct that is penalized. |
