| | | Sec. 1. 21-A MRSA §122, sub-§10 is enacted to read: |

| | | 10.__Voter registration file.__Within 5 days after receipt of | | a voter registration application, the registrar shall place the | | voter registration application in the voter registration file | | pursuant to section 172. |

| | | This bill requires a registrar of voters to place a voter | | registration application in the voter registration file within 5 | | days after receipt of the voter registration application. |
