Sec. 1. 12 MRSA §11152, sub-§7 is enacted to read:

7.__Permit not required.__Notwithstanding any other provisions of this section, a person who holds a valid junior hunting license or who is 18 years of age or younger and holds a valid Maine hunting license may take an antlerless deer without a permit.

SUMMARY

This bill allows people 18 years of age and younger who hold valid hunting licenses to hunt any deer without a permit.
