Sec. 1. 22 MRSA §2502 is enacted to read:

§2502.__Display of use of latex gloves

An operator of an eating establishment shall post notice of the use by workers of latex gloves in the preparation of food.__ Notices must be publicly and conspicuously displayed in the eating establishment or on the menu.

SUMMARY

This bill requires the operator of an eating establishment to display a notice if the workers of the eating establishment use latex gloves in the preparation of food. The purpose of the notice is to protect people who are allergic to latex.
