| MEDICAL GAS AND VACUUM SYSTEM INSTALLERS |
|
| | This chapter applies to construction, renovation, | installation, alteration, extension, removal, repair, | maintenance and service of all medical gas and vacuum systems | in the State; except that this chapter does not apply to | medical gas and vacuum system installation work performed by | persons on their own residences. |
|
| | As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise | indicates, the following terms have the following meanings. |
|
| | 1.__ANSI/ASSE SERIES 6000.__"ANSI/ASSE Series 6000" means | the latest edition of the professional qualification standards | for medical gas and vacuum system installers, inspectors and | verifiers published by the American Society of Sanitary | Engineering. |
|
| | 2.__ANSI/NFPA 99c.__"ANSI/NFPA 99c" means the latest edition | of the medical gas and vacuum standard 99c as published by the | National Fire Protection Association. |
|
| | 3.__Apprentice.__"Apprentice" means a person who is learning | and working at a trade under the supervision of another person | certified in accordance with the provisions of this chapter | and enrolled in a registered apprenticeship program in | accordance with this chapter. |
|
| | 4.__Board.__"Board" means the State Board of Examiners for | the Medical Gas and Vacuum System Industry created pursuant to | this chapter. |

| | 5.__Contractor.__"Contractor" means any person who for a |
