Rep. Charles Skold is serving his first term in the Maine House of Representatives. He is a member of the Labor and Housing Committee.

In his professional life, Rep. Skold trains business leaders in the practice of negotiation. He has previously worked with educational organizations that equip municipal leaders with skills for cross-sector collaboration and worked in religious ministry as a college advisor.

An active member of his community, Rep. Skold volunteers with the Portland Climate Action Team, the St. Luke’s Public Policy and Environmental Action Team and Greater Portland Family Promise.

Rep. Skold lives in Portland and grew up in Freeport, where he graduated from high school in 2007. He graduated from Tufts University in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in political science and from Harvard University in 2019 with a master’s in theology and public administration.
