(5-17) James Hall, of Damariscotta, for his many years of service to the Damariscotta Fire Department. In 1962, Mr. Hall joined the Massasoit Engine Company, which serves as the Damariscotta Fire Department. He became Assistant Chief in 1981 and served in that capacity a total of 15 years. From 1985 to 1987, he served as the Fire Chief for Damariscotta. He currently serves as Deputy Chief of the department, a position he has served in for eleven years. We extend our appreciation and best wishes;

In Memory of: (5-18) Kevin Brennan, of West Gardiner. Mr. Brennan was a veteran of the United States Army, having graduated from Airborne Ranger School and served in the Special Forces. He later worked as an arborist for a tree-trimming company and shared the Christian Gospel. He ministered to his neighbors, friends and family, hosted bible study, sponsored an annual summer barbeque and ministered internationally in Romania and Pakistan, where he also supported a Christian school. Mr. Brennan will be long remembered and sadly missed by his family, friends and community;

(5-19) Faith Pomerleau, of Winslow. A member of a large family and known as gregarious and outgoing, Ms. Pomerleau will be long remembered and sadly missed after her unexpected passing by her family, friends and all those whose lives she touched;

(5-20) William Tanner, of Fairfield, a dedicated mental health provider who worked with homeless people. Dr. Tanner worked as a case manager at the Mid-Maine Homeless Shelter in Waterville for over 7 years. Dr. Tanner will be long remembered and sadly missed by his family and friends and all those whose lives he touched;

(5-21) Kevin Howell, of Carmel. Mr. Howell was serving as Carmel's Town Manager, having previously served the town in other capacities, including as a Code Enforcement Officer and Interim Town Manager.
