In Memory of: (5-3) Richard C. Dillihunt, of Portland. Dr. Dillihunt was a veteran of the United States Army. A medical doctor, he became a surgical resident in Portland after his military service, which led to a 40-year career at the Maine Medical Center. His passion and dedication led him to make many contributions in the area of vascular surgery, including performing the first kidney transplant in Maine in 1971 and training countless medical residents. A prolific writer, he penned numerous thought pieces on universal health care and was a staunch advocate for affordable access to medical care for all. Dr. Dillihunt will be long remembered and sadly missed by his wife of 62 years, Jeannette, his family and friends and all those whose lives he touched;

(5-4) Forrest C. Hunt, of Damariscotta. Mr. Hunt was a veteran of the United States Army. After his service, he worked as a general contractor for several decades, also helping run his family's lumber business and raising beef cattle on the family farm and, for many years, Belgian draft horses. Mr. Hunt will be long remembered and sadly missed by his wife, Karen, with whom he shared 60 years, and his family and friends;
