(5-2) Leo Delicata, of Portland, on his retirement from Legal Services for the Elderly after 33 years of exceptional service to older Mainers and to the legislative process. Mr. Delicata brought extensive knowledge of a wide range of laws affecting older Mainers, from real estate to tax policy to probate to health care, and many topics in between. Over the last 3 decades, he was appointed by multiple governors to commissions and working groups on which he steadfastly worked to ensure Maine's policies supported older people in meeting their basic needs and living their lives with dignity. He helped shape current law in probate, and protections from elder abuse and financial exploitation, such that all older Mainers can seek justice more expeditiously and securely. He demonstrated to several generations of legislators how a committed but trusted advocate can truly make a difference. We extend our congratulations and best wishes;

In Memory of: (5-58) the Honorable Christine R. Savage, of Union. Mrs. Savage had a long career of public service. She served as town manager of the Town of Warren, as well as interim town manager in the Town of Camden and the Town of Union, and on the Union Board of Selectmen She went on to serve in the Maine House of Representatives, from 1994 to 2000, and in the Maine Senate, from 2000 to 2008. Mrs. Savage will be long remembered and sadly missed by her family and friends and all those whose lives she touched;

He worked nearly 42 years at Great Northern Paper and served 12 terms in the Maine House of Representatives, serving from the 110th Legislature to the 117th Legislature, 1981 to 1996, and from the 122nd Legislature to the 125th Legislature, 2005 to 2012. He was a past chair and board member of Katahdin Federal Credit Union board of directors and a past chair and member of the Millinocket Town Council. He was a past Grand Knight and a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus with Council #680. He was a board member of Maine Avenue Manor and a past board member of Millinocket Regional Hospital. He was a member of the Cancer Support Group, American Legion Post #80, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Veterans and Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge #1514. Mr. Clark will be long remembered and sadly missed by his family and friends and all those whose lives he touched;

(5-60) Emily Mary-Evelyn Fournier, of Fairfield. Mrs. Fournier had myriad artistic, literary and theatrical interests. She was a lifelong student of dance and an accomplished poet, writer and theatrical director. She worked with many organizations and publications until her death. She was a co-founder and executive director of Recycled Shakespeare Company, based in Waterville, and a leader in making Shakespeare accessible to all who desired to participate, forming a troupe of performers drawn from all walks of life and social groups. The company, under her leadership, was also an internationally recognized leader in ecologically sustainable theater practices, relying on the re-use of discarded materials for sets, props and costumes and repurposing existing spaces in the community to hold rehearsals and performances. Outside of her work in theater and the arts, she led an active life filled with charitable and compassionate works. Ms. Fournier will be long remembered and sadly missed by her family and friends and all those whose lives she touched;
