§891. Scales for weighing grain; order of grinding
The owner or occupant of every grist mill shall keep scales and weights therein to weigh corn, grain and meal, when required. The owner or occupant shall well and sufficiently grind as required, according to the nature, capacity and condition of the mill, all grain brought to the mill for that purpose and in the order in which it is received. For neglecting or refusing to weigh the same when required, or failing to grind the same in the order received, or for taking more than lawful toll, the owner or occupant commits a civil violation for which a fine of not less than $10 nor more than $50 must be adjudged for each violation. This section may not be so construed as to preclude the right of any owner or occupant of any mill to enter into any mutual agreement with any customer or customers as to the order in which the grain of such customers is received and ground, made at the time the customer or customers bring the grain to the mill for the purpose of being ground.
