§20103. Individual license

Only an individual may be licensed or privileged by the board and only an individual licensed or privileged by the board may practice medicine or render medical services to patients in this State, unless exempted in statutory provision or appropriately licensed by and practicing within the individual's legal scope of practice under the authority of another state licensing board. This section may not be construed to affect or prevent the practice of the religious tenets of a church in the ministration to the sick or suffering by mental or spiritual means.
