§845. Custody
The municipal clerk has custody of voting devices used by the municipality.

Storage and maintenance.
The municipal clerk is responsible for the proper storage and maintenance of each device.

The municipal clerk shall store each device in a safe, dry building.

2.
Transfer prohibited.
The municipal clerk may not transfer possession, custody or control of a voting device to any person except as expressly authorized by the Secretary of State.
