CHAPTER 519, PART JJ

     Sec. JJ-1. Position eliminations. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, 253 positions are authorized for elimination from the General Fund and other funds, representing a reduction in position count of 199.071, as a result of the review of vacant positions statewide.

     Sec. JJ-2. Report. The State Budget Officer shall provide the Joint Standing Committee on Appropriations and Financial Affairs a report of the positions eliminated by this Part if the actual positions eliminated differ from the detailed list of positions provided by the State Budget Officer in the report dated January 19, 2006 in accordance with Public Law 2005, chapter 457, Part GGG, section 12. The report, if necessary, is to be provided on or before June 1, 2006.

     Sec. JJ-3. Appropriations and allocations. The following appropriations and allocations are made to eliminate 14 vacant positions, resulting in elimination of 1.878 FTE headcount in fiscal years 2005-06 and 2006-07.
