The bill provides
a one-time General Fund appropriation of $160,00 in fiscal year 2026-27 to
the Department of Economic and Community Development to support the
operations of the Maine Blue Economy Center. The bill also includes a
one-time transfer from an Other Special Revenue Funds account within the
Department of the Attorney General to the unappropriated surplus of the
General Fund to offset the General Fund appropriation provided.
Any additional costs to other agencies to implement the provisions of this
bill are expected to be minor and can be absorbed within existing budgeted
resources. |
