The Department of
Health and Human Services will require a one-time General Fund appropriation
of $29,750 in fiscal year 2026-27 to establish a new dentist license category
within the Maine Integrated Health Management Solution System. A Federal
Expenditures Fund allocation will also be required for the FMAP match. |
|
Any additional
administrative costs to the Department of Professional and Financial
Regulation associated with establishing and administering the associate
dentist license, including review of applications, oversight of practice
agreements and enforcement activities, can be absorbed within existing
budgeted resources. |
