This resolve authorizes adoption of Chapter 115: The Credentialing of Education Personnel, a major substantive rule of the Department of Education, State Board of Education, with the addition of new sections pertaining to credentials for mathematics specialists and teachers of children with disability. The Department of Education (department) will need to make software upgrades and train staff on the updated rules once they are finalized. Any costs to the department to implement the provisions of this bill are expected to be minor and can be absorbed within existing budgeted resources.
