There may be some
minor reduction of workload associated with the minimal number of cases that
will no longer be filed in the court system. Reductions in the collection of
fines will decrease General Fund or other dedicated revenue by minor amounts. |

This bill would
result in a revenue increase to the General Fund of $7,170 in fiscal year
2025-26 and $35,220 in fiscal year 2026-27 by allowing certain stores
containing independent pharmacies to sell cigarettes and tobacco products.
The bill would also result in a revenue increase to the Local Government Fund
of $30 in fiscal year 2025-26 and $180 in fiscal year 2026-27.
Any increase in revenue to the Department of Health and Human Services from
the provisions of hits bill are expected to be minor.
