Fiscal Detail and Notes
The Department of Health and Human Services will require General Fund appropriations of $410,831 in fiscal year 2026-27 for the Office of MaineCare Services to provide expanded reimbursements for ambulance services. A Federal Expenditures Fund allocation will also be required for the FMAP match.
Any additional costs to the Department of Defense, Veterans and Emergency Management associated with rule making can be absorbed within existing budgeted resources.
Any additional administrative costs to the Department of Professional and Financial Regulation associated with this bill can be absorbed within existing budgeted resources.
