The bill includes
a Consolidated Emergency Communications Fund allocation of $2,467 in fiscal
year 2026-27 to the Department of Public Safety to add the emergency
communications director position to the 1998 Special Plan. |

costs to the Maine Public Employees Retirement System from the provisions of
this bill are expected to be minor and can be absorbed within existing
budgeted resources. |
