The bill includes
a one-time General Fund appropriation to the Maine Public Broadcasting
Corporation of $600,000 in fiscal year 2026-27 for broadcast infrastructure
equipment to enable localization of public safety information and emergency
alert messaging on the radio network operated by the Corporation. The bill
also includes a one-time transfer from an Other Special Revenue Funds account
within the Department of the Attorney General to the unappropriated surplus
of the General Fund to offset the General Fund appropriation provided. |
