The bill includes
a one-time General Fund appropriation to the Department of Public Safety of
$130,356 in fiscal year 2026-27 for one MCJA Law Enforcement Wellness
Coordinator position and All Other costs to incorporate in-service law
enforcement training that includes law enforcement office wellness
training.

Any additional
costs to the Department of Health and Human Services to adopt the changes in
this bill are expected to be minor and can be absorbed within existing
budgeted resources. |
