Requiring the Department of Education to amend its rules Chapter 60: New School Siting Approval, Chapter 61:  State Board of Education Rules for Major School Construction Projects and Chapter 125: Basic Approval Standards: Public Schools and School Administrative Units to specify that the standards governing air quality and ventilation apply to all newly constructed public schools instead of all public schools may result in savings to those local school administrative units that no longer have to comply with this requirement.
