Fiscal Detail and Notes
	This bill includes a revenue decrease to the General Fund of $304,000 in fiscal year 2026-27 by expanding the definition of "employee" to include remote workers of businesses in the Midcoast Regional Redevelopment Authority, which owns and administers the former Brunswick Naval Air Station, for purposes of calculating disbursements by the State into the Brunswick Naval Air Station Job Increment Financing Fund. The bill also includes a revenue decrease to the Local Government Fund of $16,000 in fiscal year 2026-27.
	Any additional costs to the Department of Economic and Community Development to adopt the changes in this bill are expected to be minor and can be absorbed within existing budgeted resources.
