	Provisions in this bill authorize the Governor's Energy Office to request reimbursement from the Public Utilities Commission (PUC) Other Special Revenue Funds accounts for the costs associated with the development of the distributed energy resource program. Depending on the timing and magnitude of these requests, the PUC may need to assess additional amounts on regulated utilities to maintain adequate fund balances. If such assessments are necessary, they will result in increased Other Special Revenue Funds revenue and corresponding allocations to authorize the reimbursement expenditures.
