The bill includes
ongoing General Fund appropriations to the Department of Health and Human
Services of $466,666 in fiscal year 2025-26 and $649,999 in fiscal year
2026-27 to contract with mobile dental service providers to deliver services
in public schools. The bill requires the department to provide for at least
one mobile dental services provider to be implemented each school year in a
different public health district until each of the state's 8 public health
districts has at least one mobile dental services provider.
The bill also provides ongoing Federal Expenditure Fund allocations to the
Department of Health and Human Services to continue and make permanent one
Public Health Educator III position and one Planning and Research to support
oral health services provided in public schools. |
