The bill includes
General Fund appropriations to the Department of Health and Human Services of
$116,505 in fiscal year 2025-26 and $121,994 in fiscal year 2026-27 to
establish one Comprehensive Health Planner II position to administer a
hypodermic apparatus mitigation and collection program. The bill also
includes ongoing annual Other Special Revenue Funds allocations of $500
beginning in fiscal year 2025-26 to establish the Biohazard Waste Disposal
Grant Program Fund and allow for receipts from other funding sources and for
expenditures to provide grants to community-based organizations and
municipalities. |
