|
The amendment
removes the General Fund appropriations to the Department of Health and Human
Services of $122,308 in fiscal year 2025-26 and $127,855 in fiscal year
2026-27 for one Health Program Manager position. The department has indicated
that this position is needed to implement the Alzheimer's Disease and Related
Dementias Prevention and Support Program established in the bill. As this
amendment provides no funding for the position, the impact of these new
unfunded costs on other programs in the DHHS cannot be determined.

The amendment
retains ongoing Other Special Revenue Funds allocations of $500 beginning in
fiscal year 2025-26 to establish the Healthy Brain Initiatives Council
program and allow for receipts from other funding sources and expenditures. |
