This bill
includes ongoing General Fund appropriations of $9.3 million per year
beginning in fiscal year 2025-26 to the Department of Education to provide
funding to school administrative units (SAUs) for summer school programs and
related credit recovery activities with priority given to SAUs with student
poverty rates of 25% or higher, with additional consideration for students
from asset-limited and income-constrained households. |
