Potential current biennium fiscal impact - General Fund
Fiscal Detail and Notes
Requiring the Department of Health and Human Services to propose and implement rates by July 1, 2025 for MaineCare services provided by home and community-based services providers as determined by the department's rate study is expected to have a fiscal impact. However, because the rate setting process is ongoing and rates have not been finalized a more precise impact is not possible at this time. The fiscal impact may be General Fund costs or savings based on the final rates.
