The Department of
Economic and Community Development (DECD) will require ongoing General Fund
appropriations of $71,533 in fiscal year 2025-26 and $138,928 in fiscal year
2026-27 for one Public Service Coordinator I position and related All Other
costs to staff the newly established Office of Workforce Advancement. This preliminary fiscal impact statement
assumes the position begins on January 1, 2026. |

Additional costs
to the Department of Labor to coordinate with DECD to establish statewide
workforce advancement goals can be absorbed within existing budgeted
resources. |
