This amendment
reduces the General Fund appropriation in the bill by $60,000 in fiscal year
2026-27. |

As amended, this
bill includes a General Fund appropriation of $90,000 in fiscal year 2026-27
to the University of Maine System to support the first year of a 2-year
Working Waterfront Infrastructure Engineer Corps Pilot Program established to
provide expertise in engineering, planning and permitting to restore and
protect the State's working waterfront and other vulnerable infrastructure.
The University of Maine System will require an additional General Fund
appropriation of $90,000 in fiscal year 2027-28 to support the second year of
the pilot program. |
