The University of
Maine System will require General Fund appropriations of $150,000 in fiscal
year 2026-27 and fiscal year 2027-28 to support the 2-year Working Waterfront
Infrastructure Engineer Corps Pilot Program established to provide expertise
in engineering, planning and permitting to restore and protect the State's
working waterfront and other vulnerable infrastructure. |

Additional costs
to the Maine Commission for Community Service, the Maine Community College
System, the University of Maine System and Maine Maritime Academy to
collaborate to conduct the feasibility study can be absorbed within existing
budgeted resources. |
|
