|
The Department of
Professional and Financial Regulation will require ongoing Other Special
Revenue Funds allocations of $90,917 in fiscal year 2025-26 and $121,845 in
fiscal year 2026-27 for one Office Specialist I position and related All
Other costs to manage the newly established continuing education requirements
for licensed architects. This preliminary fiscal impact statement assumes an
effective date of October 1, 2025. |
|
The department has
indicated that the Maine State Board for Licensure of Architects, Landscape
Architects and Interior Designers does have sufficient resources to support
the cost of the position through the 2026-2027 biennium, however, fees may
need to be increased in future biennia to cover the ongoing costs. |
