The Department of
Transportation will require Island Ferry Services Fund allocations of
$449,980 beginning in fiscal year 2027-28 for annual stipends to qualified
employees of the Maine State Ferry Service.
The Department will also require annual transfers of approximately
$450,000 beginning in fiscal year 2027-28 from the unallocated balance of the
Highway Fund to the Island Ferry Services Fund to cover the cost of the
stipends. |
