This amendment
eliminates the one-time General Fund appropriation of $202,500 in fiscal year
2025-26 provided to reimburse municipalities with 4,000 or more residents for
90% of the costs for system updates needed in order to provide the required
information on certain housing data and reduces the ongoing General Fund
appropriations by $345,000 per year beginning in fiscal year 2025-26 provided
to reimburse municipalities for the cost of preparing the required annual
report. |
|
As amended, this bill includes ongoing
General Fund appropriations of $60,000 per year beginning in fiscal year
2025-26 to the Maine Office of Community Affairs to reimburse municipalities
for the cost of preparing an annual report on certain housing data. Public Law 2025, chapter 388, Part D
transferred responsibility for the Housing Opportunity Program from the
Department of Economic and Community Development to the Maine Office of
Community Affairs. |
