This bill allows
an employer with a private plan that was in place on or before January 1,
2025 that is approved by the Department of Labor to receive a refund of
premiums paid into the Paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance Fund. According to the Department of Labor, as
written, this bill would have no fiscal impact as there were no employers in
the State that had a substantially equivalent plan in effect on January 1,
2025 so there would be no refunds. |
