Fiscal Detail and Notes
The Department of Professional and Financial Regulation has indicated the it will require a one-time General Fund appropriation of $20,000 in fiscal year 2025-26 for the costs associated with conducting a Sunrise review pursuant to Title 5, section 12015 due to the proposed expansion of prescriptive authority for naturopathic doctors.
The department will also require ongoing Other Special Revenue Funds allocations of $1,000 per year beginning in fiscal year 2025-26 for the per diem and other expenses for 2 members of the Board of Complementary Health Care Providers to participate in the formulary subcommittee.
