This bill
temporarily limits certain administrative requirements related to municipal
electronic dog licensing and directs the Department of Agriculture,
Conservation and Forestry to implement an alternative licensing process. The
department has indicated that the duplicative requirements would necessitate
additional resources. The bill includes one-time General Fund appropriations
of $104,746 in FY 2025-26 and $838 in FY 2026-27, and Other Special Revenue
Funds allocations of $522 in FY 2025-26 and $174 in FY 2026-27, for
contracted services and associated IT costs. |
