This bill
provides immediate family members of qualifying veterans and active duty
military members free day-use passes to enter all state parks and historic
sites. This is estimated to reduce General Fund revenue by $226,275 in fiscal
year 2025-26 and by $301,700 in fiscal year 2026-27, using the assumption
that qualifying veterans and family members' usage will comprise roughly 7%
of the estimated current annual revenue of $4,031,000 from day-use passes. |
